HybriD3: A Hand-Curated Database for Accelerating Hybrid Perovskite Research
HybriD3 is a platform hosted at Duke University for experimental and computational data on hybrid organic-inorganic semiconductors across a wide range of physical properties, including crystal structures, optical spectra, and electronic responses. The database allows the addition of new properties, datasets, and references. The data are freely available for download either through an interactive webpage or an application programming interface (API).
Audience: Materials scientists, chemists, physicists, and machine learning for materials researchers.
The objective of the webinar is to -
- Introduce HybriD3 as a material-centric database for hybrid organic-inorganic semiconductors, containing 2000+ datasets on 600+ systems.
- Demonstrate how to create, query, and visualize datasets across multiple data types.
- Drive awareness and adoption within the research community.
Highlights:
- Integrated data ecosystem: Experimental and theoretical in one place.
- Side-by-side visualization of structure, spectra, and electronic properties.
- Clean, curated, open-access, and analysis-friendly datasets.
- Designed for high-throughput discovery + ML integration.
